In the last few classes I have learned a lot about the renaissance. I learned about what they eat. They love to show that they are rich by making expensive foods and big portions. There plates were bread so that when they were done eating they could give it to the poor. And they also loved cheese. The poor often raised there own meat and grew there vegetables. And the rich often had very big houses. They were often really beautiful. They would sometimes even put carvings into the cement. They invented guilds in the renaissance. They were all were all very similar I studied the crafts guild. They had different stages of skill. To become the best it could take up to 10 years and it required a test, were the best of the guild would come together and decide whether the person should be upgraded or not depending on his level of skill.
