What is the issue?

During a small celebration of Thailand’s new year there was a flash flood. At this moment there are 35 people dead and dozens missing.

Who is involved?

The King of Thailand. All the rescue teams. The family members of those dead and missing. The people who are still missing and could possible be alive.

Who is affected and how?

The people who have lost a family member because they are grieving. The people who are still alive and missing because they are fighting for their lives. The search and rescue teams because they are doing there best do find everyone that they can. The King of Thailand because he has to start sending more help to the people so that they can survive.

What would I do if I was directly involved?

I would sure to send as many search and rescue teams as needed. I would also be sure to send food and a few doctors and nurses to treat the injured. I would also try to do my best to repair any damage to the houses. I would probably immediately start a campaign to educate the public about flash floods. Since there are many flash floods in Thailand I would try to teach them how to know when a flash flood was coming. I would also send tents to temporarily shelter those whose houses where destroyed by the floods.
