I think that Bill Gates is a renaissance because he owns one of the worlds biggest companies, now I am going to tell you why I think Bill Gates is a renaissance person. He owns one of the worlds leading companies. He was so smart that at 13 he began programming computers.  As a freshmen in Harvard he developed version of the programming language BASIC for the first microcomputer - the MITS Altair. He was so smart he didn’t even go through with college he dropped out as a junior. After that he started building Microsoft, he worked with Paul Allen and designed programs for personal computers.  Bill Gates is also a writer and has written “Business @ the speed of thought” and all the proceeds of that book went to charity. Bill Gates also does a lot with education. He tries to many public schools in America and has donated a lot to it. To me is one of the smartest people in the world.
